Welcome! My name is Tiffany De La Riva and I am a bilingual therapist in Orange County, California. I am a proud first gen, eldest daughter of a Mexican family. My path to becoming a therapist has stemmed from my passion for social justice, advocacy in reducing mental health stigma in Latino communities, and my overall desire to help others feel seen and respected. With these passions in mind, I graduated with a BA in Psychology from UC Riverside in 2015, and then obtained my Master of Social Work degree from CSUF in 2017. I have 9 years of experience providing support to teens and adults navigating anxiety, grief, and trauma. At the heart of my practice is my goal of providing a safe & culturally inclusive space for the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.
MY APPROACH: I have a gentle and nurturing approach in my work, and meet others where they're at. I understand that for many it's hard to even be open to seeking support; therefore, I use empathy in providing a slow & supportive space for others to start their healing journey. I enjoy using humor to build connection and will collaborate with you to prioritize what we focus on. I am most passionate about working with those grieving their parent(s), fellow first gens, and first time parents.
